Lonely Border…

With the suspension of non-essential border crossing due to the coronavirus outbreak, the San Ysidro Border Crossing heading north looked like a ghost town this Sunday morning on what is normally an incredibly busy day with long wait times exceeding three hours to cross.

In what must have felt somewhat surreal, the border crossings were measured in minutes, not hours in these late days of spring mid-pandemic…
