Interesting point @bajabill about the location of filming. I don’t know which side of the border they filmed on but your point about Tijuana is well taken as far as its connection to the history of the show and the “in Baja” location being a true window to the south. It may be an issue right now of where this venture has access to the resources to put this all together.

As far as their clothes? Didn’t focus on that much but watching it again I guess maybe I can see your point. I suppose television talk shows today have set the bar kind of high in that regard and they were following suit to keep this at a professional level.

I agree that Scott seemed to really be in his element with the street interviews and I suppose that’s because it’s closer to what he has done up until now. And Juan made a great point of including Olga in a future on location segment – it would likely add some latin spark to the on-air exchange.

I also struggled to hear Olga a few times but that’s probably just a mic issue and they’ll work those sort of details out over time.

Overall, this first segment was really great to watch and it’s likely to keep improving so we all have a lot to look forward to.
