This group should be your very first stop for first time travelers to Mexico and even for those of you who have been south of the border before – but it’s been awhile. In this group you’ll find the answers to most of your questions, such as…
- Do I need a visa to travel to Mexico?
- Do I need a passport?
- What’s an FMM?
- What are the latest COVID restrictions?
- Can I drive my car in Baja Mexico?
- What about auto insurance?
- Where can I find vacation rentals?
- Do I need to exchange currency?
- Can I drink the water?
- Is it safe to travel to Baja Mexico?
- Can I use an ATM?
- Do I need to learn Spanish?
Hopefully, we were able to put your mind at ease after so many questions but now it’s time to start planning your trip into Baja Mexico. First off, are you planning on driving down, flying in or will you be making a port of call from a cruise ship at Ensenada, Loreto, La Paz or Cabo San Lucas?
If you are arriving on a cruise ship or flying in to stay at an all-inclusive resort, your itinerary will already be made for you to some extent but we can still provide you with some valuable information on what you can expect as well as local attractions, restaurants and activities around where you will be deboarding your cruise ship or the resort you will be staying at.
But if a Baja Road Trip is in your future and you’re looking for ideas as to where to go, how to get there and areas nearby you could spend some time sightseeing and exploring, then you have definitely come to the right place.
Our advice is to go grab something cold to drink from the fridge, some fruit or a bag of your favorite munchies and sit down to spend some time with us here at Talk Baja; we’ll answer all your questions and help you plan out your next, epic Baja adventure!
Spend some time discussing your ideas and plans with our Groups and Forums filled with experienced and “road tested” Baja travel veterans…
