Anybody here seen this guy’s channel?
Al Reid is a Canadian who decides to check out, buy a motorcycle and take off heading south, looking for “warm and cheap” and says he’s looking forward to “getting lost”.
He’s made it to Baja and I must admit I am getting a kick out of attitude and videos.

LOL – this guy is too funny. He is just filming and appears to have no script which I suppose is kind of refreshing in a way. He says in another video that he plans to continue riding south until he reaches Central America but I think he should stick around in Baja for awhile and develop some better street smarts. All I can say is good luck!

Personally I think this poor guy is just an accident (or worse) waiting to happen. I really hope that I am wrong as after watching him from the very beginning, I am now rooting for him to find whatever it is he is looking for.

Give Al a break, he’s doing his own thing and I respect him for that. Too many people just sit on the couch at home, boasting about what they are going to do next week or next month, but never do anything beyond changing the channel and going to the kitchen for more chips. He’s got guts.

Either this guy is a genius or a complete idiot as he creates the appearance (intentionally or unintentionally) that he has no clue of what he’s doing as evidenced by even mistyping the video title. Here he is, happy to be in Rosarito, creepy guys in the shower and all before heading down to Ensenada.

The videos are hilarious to watch but I must admit that I came here thinking this post would be boring, having something to do with Artificial Intelligence (what I interpreted from seeing AI)
And @Blitzer is right, I give him kudos for doing his own thing and being willing to share it, although I admit I am concerned that he is going to get eaten alive down there at some point in his journey to Central America.

That’s funny, I hadn’t thought of that until you mentioned it (AI = artif intelligence) but now every time I see this thread in the list it’s what I see too.

Al (not artificial intelligence) left Rosarito heading south but had to come back. Find out what he forgot to do…

So basically confirming my initial impression of Al, he is indeed a bit squirrely and in his very next video abandons all of his plans to continue south through Latin America along with leaving his bike behind to catch a flight for France to help move a boat down to Italy. I love his line about using the “dazed and confused look” to get what he wants, that seems to come quite naturally to Al.
