Rancho Casa Verde

Good morning, I’m new to the forum and have a question. Has anyone here ever been to a small place up in Sierra Juarez off Hwy 3 called Rancho Casa Verde los Corrado? It is supposed to be a very small hotel with some stand alone cabins they rent out. Just wondering how accessible it is with a 4X2 Tacoma?

Considering making a trip up there in late May / early June and really appreciate any and all help you can offer.

Nice format to your forum by the way.

Never been to the Ranch Casa Verde itself but exploring up and around Laguna Hanson I recall seeing a sign to the place. Looked to be easily accessible by any vehicle with average ground clearance on a good weather day.

Visited that place with a group of friends on dirt bikes several years ago and at the time, the dirt road that leads to the ranch wasn’t in such great condition, washed out in areas but that was only 2 weeks after some fairly heavy spring rains. Looked like it was normally maintained.

That is an historic property with a nice, fresh water stream nearby, built by a family of immigrants from Italy over a century ago.

Here are the driving directions to the ranch from Ensenada:

Looking at the roads on Google Maps | Satellite View it appears to be in good shape. You may want to call them at +52 (646)171-5981 or +52 (646)182-9217. You can also email them info@ranchocasaverde.com

Nice folks up there. We stopped by to see what was going on and spent the night a few years ago. You shouldn’t have any trouble with your Tacoma as long as there’s no snow/ice or heavy rains.

That looks so cool! How long of a drive from Ensenada?
