  • NW Swell is Booming off Todos Santos Island

With all of Southern California bombing, biggest buoy readings in decades/ever, waves breaking where waves don’t normally break, some might’ve been wondering how Todos Santos might’ve been faring.

Well, based on some of the images snapped a few days ago, the wondering is over.

While overshadowed by Jaws, Maverick’s and Nazare, Baja’s offshore island has been the focal point for SoCal big-wave surfing for decades, and offered up a solid session for a solid crew, including Greg Long, Jamie Mitchell, Jojo Roper, Felicity Palmateer and a host of other hearty chargers.

Stay tuned for more images that are sure to come.

The NW swell moving in tomorrow is supposed to be even bigger. I have a couple of friends who took off work at noon today and are driving down right now to the Seven Sisters area.

I’d be down there too if it wasn’t for this cast on my right foot/ankle that won’t come off for a couple more weeks. So I am limited to drooling over the photos & video that will come back.
