Hello Talk Baja members. My name is Carlos, I am 21 years old, I was born in Mexicali and live in Tijuana for 15 years where I now go to the university to study to become an environmental engineer.

I love Tijuana and my state of Baja California, even with its problems and challenges this region has a lot of heart and passion in its people working to provide a better life for their children.

During my free time from my studies I like to run and have participated in 25K events.

Like most of you here, I also like to travel to many areas of my state and if I can help you with any questions you have, please ask me and I do my best to give you the best answers and advice.

Bienvenido Carlos! So where are some of your favorite locations when exploring outside of Tijuana? What activities – off-roading, fishing, surfing or just seeing new places?

I would suggest that you upload a profile picture as that way it’s easier to remember you. Just click on your current profile image at the top right of the page and from the drop down menu you can select to edit your profile and upload your profile and cover photos.

Send me a message if you need any help.

If you like to run, you may want to consider coming down to San Quintin on October 30th to participate in the Reto Volcanico. It’s a very unique trail run type event with 3K, 6K, 15K and 25K course options that are mapped out along the San Quintin Bay, Pacific coastline and volcanoes.

Talk Baja is one of the organizers of this very popular event where we expect to have over one thousand participants at this years event.

Welcome Carlos to Talk Baja! Maybe you can share some good tips about Tijuana as to best places to eat, best places to stay and where to avoid?
