Manzanillo in Ensenada one of 3 best in Mexico
Chefs Benito Molina y his partner in business and love Solange Muris are true pioneers in the gastronomic scene for the Baja region of Mexico, starting out with a unique culinary concept at Ensenada restaurant Manzanillo 22 years ago. They have since opened two additional eateries in the area – Silvestre and Muelle Tres.
Their restaurants all specialize in exquisite seafood and Manzanillo was named among the 50 Best of San Pellegrino in Latin America and Life & Style magazine listed Manzanilla as one best in all of Mexico for the decade!
Manzanillo is located in the downtown area, just one short block the port at Blvd. Teniente Azueta, 139.

We were taken to Manzanillo the first time by friends who live in Ensenada and it was fabulous! Solange came by our table and spent some talking with us, inviting us to another round of wine and really helped to cap off a quite memorable evening. We have been back a couple of times since when we overnight in Ensenada and have never been disappointed.

Sounds very nice but is probably too expensive for our normal travel budget when in Mexico. Besides, some of the best seafood I had in Ensenada was off a street cart.
