French tacos in Tijuana???
Our good friends Scott and Olga took us all on a very interesting Tijuana taco tour earlier today, visiting chef MartÃn San Román, owner and chef of El Original Pastel de Crepas Tijuana, where his special blend of Mexican and French cuisine has created one of the world’s most unique tacos – a delicious Mexican-French taco with tortilla, foie gras, pork and cilantro… and all in the same taco!

Tijuana has French tacos? How’d we miss that?

We are heading down tomorrow and will try to find it. Checking on Google, it looks like the restaurant is located in Zona Rio about halfway between Paseo de los Heroes and Aguas Calientes Blvd? Do they have parking nearby?

Looks like there is parking either right out front or in the adjacent property – can’t tell which side the front door is facing.

Turns out that French Tacos are a real thing, but they look more like burritos.
