Osprey tales

I was fortunate enough to correspond with “Jorge” during the last 5 or so years of his life, and I got to meet he and Lynda during one of our trips to Baja. We bonded over our love of writing, and he generously shared many of his short stories with me. It was never his intention to publish his work as a means of income, but many of his stories are of such high quality it would be a shame not to share them with a wider audience.

Some day, when I have more leisure time on my hands, I hope to gather all of stories I have as email attachments into one archive and request that others do the same.

I have many of his stories that he shared with me, asking me to share them for him on Talk Baja. My plans are to begin sharing those back here in this forum, and I have it marked on my calendar to get done this summer…

Excellent! I probably have many of the same stories you do, but if I have anything unique I’d be happy to commit them to The Cause.

Awesome! Feel free to begin posting some of them one by one if you have them handy. I remember that he liked that I added some images to his stories I’d post that would catch the mood/vibe of the story.

I am not familiar with this writer but would look forward to reading some of his work.

You’ll get a big kick out the stories.

I remember seeing some of these stories that Ron shared on Facebook. Would love to see them all posted here where they are much easier to find and so sorry to hear about Mr. Bergins passing but this is a very good way to help the memory of him live on.
