    My sister and brother-in-laws transmission failed on their ML450 about an hour north of La Paz last year. I just messaged her and she said the quotes to get towed to the border were outrageous. She said the owner of a restaurant there sent them to a local transmission shop that rebuilt their tranney for about the cost of what the tow to San Diego was going to cost them. And it’s still running great!
