    More important (to me) than swimming with whales is people insisting on getting their boats right on top of them for a photo. I was in BOLA several years ago where one fishing captain maneuvered his panga up a whale shark for a photo op for his clients aboard and ended up cutting a huge gash with his prop across the poor animal when it got spooked and suddenly changed direction.
