I heard that the Dakota was coming back and this is probably it although I seem to recall the previous announcement said in 2024. I hope that Dodge follows suit as Ford is doing with the Ranger, beefing up the chassis. That was always the problem with the prior mid-sizes, they were only good for light hauling and mostly on good roads.
