With U.S. citizens flocking to Mexico in order to save money buying gasoline in Tijuana and other border cities, Mexico withdrew the federal subsidy on Sunday. And reinstated it again today, taking prices back down.

President López Obrador confirmed today that gasoline subsidies – which were suspended yesterday – have been reinstated along the northern border region, bringing the price of fuel at the pump back down to the lower prices from days prior.
