Baja Window to the South – Latest Episode
In this latest episode – my personal favorite to date – from Baja Window to the South, Olga and Scott covered some great topics including the upcoming Conchas & Vino Nuevo Festival with lots of wine tasting, seafood and fun! That event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 1st.
They also shared some great info about the Tijuana International Airport (which I have often used – it’s great!), sharing on how easy it is to fly out of there and quite often – a LOT cheaper too! Now it’s easier than ever before with the newly expanded CBX Border Crossing!
And of course, Scott takes us on another epic “Tacos With Muchachos” clip, trying some tacos at the taqueria Las Ahumaderas, which was visited by Anthony Bourdain himself!
And as a self-anointed, highly experienced taco connoisseur myself, one of these days I am going to make some time when I am up in Tijuana to try and sneak onto the filming of one of those Tacos with Muchachos episodes!

I like the show and the topics but think that most people today aren’t willing to watch an in-studio interview that last more than 3 minutes, unless it’s some huge star or other personality. I call it the Tic-Toc syndrome, as that’s about how long people’s attention span last anymore.
It’s a sad fact as I really think they have a good product but the market today has been taken over by very short videos. My mom’s even hooked on Tic-Toc which is a sure sign we are doomed as a society.
Maybe if they could run some related video material onscreen during the interview to help people stay interested?

I saw an interview with Oprah and she said she didn’t think her show would have been such a big hit if it had launched today, much for the very same reason you just mentioned. My wife is hooked on TicToc and I keep threatening her that I will throw away her phone. She can spend hours and hours watching 1 or 2 minute videos.
