To some extent, yep. I observe that as a symptom of the poverty cycle that permeates our beloved neighbors to the south. Yet, immersing oneself in relationships with those we connect with that are natives there, takes time and repetition. But the rewards can be enriching for both parties. There will always be bad players we come across, yet we shouldn’t let that cloud our opinions with generalizations that only deprive each of us of a choice to interact personally with anyone.
