Today’s Weather Conditions
This long period NW swell continues to propagate down the Baja Pacific coastline with seas of 9 to 12 feet this afternoon north of Cabo San Lazaro. This swell event will reach the Revillagigedo Islands by Wednesday afternoon while gradually subsiding. Seas of 6 to 8 feet are expected across the offshore waters of Baja California by Wednesday night.
Expect for offshore winds in the northern gulf region to continue today as the winter storm is now moving east pushing some gusty wind down much of Baja’s gulf coastline today.
Along the Baja Pacific side today, the afternoon high temperatures will reach up to only 60 degrees under partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain around Ensenada, 62 and partly cloudy with a light rain possible in the San Quintin Valley region with partly to mostly sunny skies and 66 in Guerrero Negro and up to 72 and partly to mostly sunny today around the Todos Santos area.
Down Baja’s gulf coastline this afternoon expect for the high temps to reach up to 67 degrees with mostly sunny skies for San Felipe, 66 and mostly sunny in Bahia de Los Angeles, 70 and partly to mostly sunny in Mulege, 72 and partly cloudy in Loreto and up to 77 under partly cloudy skies in La Paz this afternoon.
The Cabo San Lucas area should see up to a maximum of 73 degrees under partly cloudy skies with a light wind from the west-northwest later this afternoon.
