Today’s Weather ConditionsThis long period NW swell will continue to propagate down the Baja Pacific coastline with another set of large NW swells to begin arriving later this afternoon, building seas to 10 to 14 feet north of Punta Eugenia by this evening. This swell event will affect the waters north of Cabo San Lazaro on Tuesday with seas expected to reach 9 to 11 feet.
Expect for offshore winds in the northern gulf region to continue today as the winter storm is moving across the northern and central regions of the peninsula bringing some much needed rain.
Along the Baja Pacific side today, the afternoon high temperatures will reach up to 62 degrees under cloudy skies with rain likely around Ensenada, 66 and cloudy with rain in the San Quintin Valley region with mostly cloudy skies and 70 with a chance of rain in Guerrero Negro and up to 74 and sunny today around the Todos Santos area.
Down Baja’s gulf coastline this afternoon expect for the high temps to reach up to 70 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of rain for San Felipe, 69 and mostly cloudy with rain in Bahia de Los Angeles, 71 and mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in Mulege, 73 and partly sunny in Loreto and up to 77 under sunny skies in La Paz this afternoon.
The Cabo San Lucas area should see up to a maximum of 75 degrees under sunny skies with a light wind from the west-northwest later this afternoon.
