For the eastern North Pacific…east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. Offshore of Southwestern Mexico: Showers and thunderstorms have decreased in association with an area of low pressure located a few hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. Although the system has lost organization, it still will likely become a short-lived tropical cyclone during the next day or two before upper-level winds become unfavorable for development on Sunday. The low is forecast to move west-northwestward at about 10 mph well offshore the coast of Mexico during the next few days.

Along the Baja Pacific side today, expect for afternoon temperatures reaching up to 84 degrees around Ensenada and in San Quintin, 87 in Guerrero Negro and up to 88 today around the Todos Santos area.
Down Baja’s gulf coastline this afternoon the high temps should reach up to 97 degrees for San Felipe, 96 in Bahia de Los Angeles, 98 in Mulege, 94 in Loreto and up to 97 this afternoon around La Paz.
The Cabo San Lucas area should see up to a maximum of 90 degrees under mostly sunny skies with a light onshore breeze from the southwest expected later this afternoon.

Expect some more unstable weather conditions along the northern and parts of the central regions of the Baja peninsula today with thunderstorms and rain showers possible in areas this afternoon.
