    To Tom-Lindsay:

    Got a tad over 17 mpg’s with my Duramax diesel (2005 6.6 liter GMC). Mind you, I was driving 55mph the entire distance on I 40, then Ca 58.

    Also I have a screen to deflect wind/bugs.
