Daily Weather Report
Sponsored by Baja Bound Insurance
In spite of a slight shift eastward of the low pressure trough off the Gulf, the pressure gradient across the northern border region will continue to impact large areas north and south of the border today with hail and thunderstorms possible later this afternoon, along with moderate to locally strong winds in the central Gulf down to Cabo Corrientes that are now forecast to persist through tomorrow as the high pressure builds west of the region and low pressure deepens over central Mexico.
Looking further south, expect for mostly sunny skies with a gradual warming trend as the high pressure over the Pacific will dominate the weather patterns across much of Baja California for the next few days with afternoon temperatures in the low to mid low 70s today.
South of the 28th parallel, you can expect for a mix of sunshine through clouds as the onshore Pacific flow continues to move across the region with relatively mild but pleasant weather this afternoon for most of Baja Sur with partly cloudy skies and mid to upper 70s today.
A slightly warmer 79 degrees is expected for La Paz today with the area around Cabo San Lucas forecast to reach 77 degrees with a breeze from the south picking up across the southern tip this afternoon.
